It is the largest solar panel park on site in the brewery world. This park can generate an amount of electricity that equals the electricity consumption of more than 1500 households.
Frans van Schoor, director of SolarAccess: “With the renewed solar panel park, the HEINEKEN brewery in ‘s-Hertogenbosch can now generate 11% of the electricity consumption itself. The additional solar panels were placed on the roof of the logistics center, last summer. The installation is huge and covers an area comparable to more than 8 football stadiums. Unique in the brewing world! ”
